‘Claim Your Space’ Pride Campaign

UNSNCTND collaborated with Spotify’s in-house creative team to bring their Pride 2021 “Claim Your Space” Campaign to life. UNSNCTND sourced three LGBTQIA+ artists (Mohammed Fayaz, Mia Saine, and Ggggrimes) to create illustrations depicting queer activists and musical icons from New Orleans, Nashville, and Detroit. With the help of mural partners Overall Murals, the illustrations were then converted into installations on walls in these three cities. Finally, the amazing Allie Cuerdo directed a beautiful video to tell the story of this project — a visual love letter to these cities and a celebration of queer joy.
